OTA platform development
Customer experience, booking workflows and supplier access planned as one connected project.
Explore OTA platformsTAAPP provides development for GDS and airline API integrations. We start with the provider interfaces and access available to your agency, then define the technical connection your platform needs.
Discuss GDS & airline APIsA global distribution system, airline or other supplier may expose different interfaces and permissions for different use cases. Establish which products you can access, what the test environment supports and what is required for production. The agency’s commercial agreements, credentials and any approval process are separate dependencies from the development work.
A useful integration needs more than a successful API request. Define how provider fields map to your platform, how offers and identifiers are retained, and how the system handles unavailable responses or changed information. Where booking is in scope, the design must consider duplicate requests, incomplete transactions and the operational steps required when an automated action cannot finish.
Agree test scenarios with the teams that will use the integration. Include expected responses, failed requests and the handover between software and operations. Keep credentials on the server and restrict access to the systems that need them. Monitoring, provider changes and support responsibilities should be discussed so that the agency knows who will investigate issues after launch.
Share the provider name, API documentation, available test access and the workflows you want to connect. Send credentials only through an agreed secure channel, never in a public inquiry or project brief.
The number of providers and operations, documentation quality, access permissions and production approval requirements affect scope. A review of these dependencies is needed before a dependable estimate can be given.
Development does not automatically include a supplier account, commercial agreement or inventory access. Your agency must establish the relevant access with the provider.
We can assess a provider once its documentation, access and required workflows are available. Compatibility and delivery scope are confirmed after that review; no provider partnership is implied.
Not necessarily. Production permissions, required approvals and operational arrangements must be confirmed separately with the provider before launch.
